In general, setting up a satellite connection on a Windows PC is not
something that is easily done. BizarNet tested on Windows 98, ME, 2000
and NT 4.0 PC's and on Windows 98, 2000 and NT 4.0 we achieved very good
performance, although it takes a bit more effort to get it going on W98
and NT. Our service does work on Windows ME, but we would advise you to
upgrade to Windows 2000 or to use Windows 98. Performance on Windows 2000
or 98 is significantly better than on Windows ME. It should also be noted
that our Lite Client does not work on Windows ME and NT 4.0. You can read
in the manual how to set up VPN connections on Windows ME and NT.

The Dcom98.exe file is a patch specifically for a-symmetric connections.
We advise you to go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and click on
productupdates. This will check your settings automatically and show a
recommendation. You should download the first mentioned update. Install
Dcom98.exe only after the windows update. Updating your windows will
overrule the changes implemented by Dcom98.exe

The Lite Client is a pre-installed VPN connection. Using the Lite Client
saves you the trouble of setting up your own VPN connection. If you
however wish to set up your own VPN connection, the Installation Manual
can guide you through the Set up process.

In order to maximize performance, you should run the w98.reg file. This
will alter registry settings that are supported by the HTTP protocol and
it will result in a considerable increase in browsing and download speed.

| TCPsessions.zip |

Running this file (just doubleclick on the icon) will change your TCP/IP
registry entries to enhance browsing speed. We have to mention that it is
not officially supported by HTTP protocol. We tested it and it worked,
though. Without these entries, the download speed will be the same, but
it will take more time to load all the pictures and frames on webpages,
since default Windows settings only allow 5 TCP sessions at a time.
